What should we know about COVID-19 precautions?

Please see our guidelines prior to visiting.

What days and hours are you open?

The Columbia River Maritime Museum is open from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. every day except Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.

Is the Museum child-friendly?

Yes. The Museum is appropriate and accessible for all ages. Please note that children under the age of 11 must be accompanied by a guardian. Minors aged 11 and older may visit the museum without a guardian, but in case of emergency we do require the name of the minor and a phone number of an available adult be left at the front desk.

Can I take photographs inside the Museum?

Yes. You are welcome to photograph images in the Museum for your personal use.

Is parking easy and convenient for large groups?

Yes. The Museum has ample parking for cars and buses, as well as an area dedicated for daytime motor home use.

Is the Museum handicap accessible?

Yes. The Museum building is fully accessible for everyone, but the Lightship Columbia is not recommended for individuals with mobility challenges due to steep access ladders and elevated thresholds.

How much time should I allow to experience the Museum?

We recommend that you allow approximately two hours to fully experience the Museum.
